PlayOLG’s Self-Exclusion program applies to all online games available on PlayOLG.ca, including lottery.
If you’re currently self-excluded from land-based casino and slots gambling, you’ll be ineligible to register or play on PlayOLG. However, if you register for Self-Exclusion from PlayOLG, you will not be automatically self-excluded from land-based slots and casinos in Ontario.
You can find more information about registering for land-based Self-Exclusion here.
If you have a PlayOLG account: Self-Exclusion can be completed securely online here . Please note that if you choose to cancel Self-Exclusion, you will be logged out of PlayOLG.ca.
If you do not have a PlayOLG account: Registering for land-based Self-Exclusion also extends to PlayOLG and you will be excluded from playing online. You can find more information about registering for land-based Self-Exclusion here.
If you have questions about Self-Exclusion, please contact PlayOLG Player Support, available 24/7 by chat or at 1-855-978-7529.
You will receive a Self-Exclusion package in the mail, including information on problem gambling and community support services. You won’t receive any marketing or promotional materials from OLG and PlayOLG (other than communications that are sent to the general public) during your chosen term. Your personal information is kept confidential and used solely by the staff involved in managing the program.

Based on experience and evidence gathered from gamblers, gambling clinicians and academic researchers, OLG recommends combining Self-Exclusion with other supports, such as gambling treatment programs, financial counselling and relationship counselling. Taken together, these steps can help you gain control over your gambling.
Since the program is voluntary, the avoidance of gambling is ultimately your responsibility.

Self-Exclusion can only be carried out by the individual who wishes to be excluded. There’s generally no mechanism for excluding another person. The only exception to this policy is pursuant to a power of attorney.

PlayOLG will not automatically reinstate your playing privileges at the end of your term. Once your term is complete, you must first apply for reinstatement. If approved for reinstatement, you’ll need to complete a mandatory online tutorial before returning to play.
If reinstated, you will not automatically receive OLG marketing communications (other than communications that are sent to the general public), unless you manually opt in to receive them.
